TAF (Terminal Aerodrome Forecast)

A weather forecast in coded format issued for airports, covering a 24 or 30 hour period. TAFs predict wind, visibility, cloud cover, and significant weather changes. Pilots use TAFs alongside METARs for flight planning decisions.
