Partnership pairs AviatorPro's ground school platform with a new, manufacturer-built Sling Aircraft Systems course for SlingPilot Academy students and Sling pilots nationwide
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. and TORRANCE, Calif. — October 2026 — AviatorPro, an aviation ground school and learning management platform built for professional flight training, today announced a multi-year partnership with Sling Pilot Academy and Sling Aircraft North America. Under the agreement, AviatorPro becomes Sling Pilot Academy’s official ground school provider, and AviatorPro and Sling Aircraft North America will work together to develop a dedicated Sling Aircraft Systems Course built around the Sling training fleet.
Sling Pilot Academy students will train on AviatorPro’s FAA-aligned ground school courseware for the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, and flight instructor certificate. Students and instructors will also have access to ProTools, AviatorPro’s interactive 3D aircraft and systems training technology, and AviatorIntel readiness analytics, which give instructors real-time insight into student progress, performance, and checkride readiness.
Alongside the ground school rollout, AviatorPro will develop the Sling Aircraft Systems Course in direct collaboration with Sling Aircraft North America. The course will be built from the manufacturer’s official systems and specifications and will be structured around the Sling aircraft Sling Pilot Academy students fly every day. Course modules will be released to Sling Pilot Academy students as they are completed. Once complete, the course will also be available to the broader network of Sling flight schools and owner-pilots across North America via the Sling Safety Network, giving Sling Aircraft North America a standardized systems training resource for the entire Sling community.
The partnership extends AviatorPro’s model of pairing FAA-aligned ground training with aircraft-specific content into the light-sport training market, following similar manufacturer collaborations in the piston training fleet.
“Sling Pilot Academy moves a lot of students through training fast, and that only works if the ground school keeps up, so we’re glad they chose AviatorPro,” said Luke Ormsby, President of AviatorPro. “The bigger piece for us is building the Sling course with the people who make the airplane. We’re scanning the aircraft and building the model from Sling’s own specs, so students get a systems course for the exact airplane they fly. We are excited about a future with Sling!”
Sling Pilot Academy joins a growing group of flight schools and universities using AviatorPro, including Auburn University and the University of North Dakota, both of which entered into agreements with AviatorPro earlier this year. AviatorPro was also named a 2026 FLYING Magazine Editor’s Choice Award winner in the Training & Flight Education category.
The agreement comes as AviatorPro continues to expand beyond collegiate aviation programs into specialized flight training markets and manufacturer partnerships, building aircraft-specific courseware that helps students stay on pace and gives training organizations and manufacturers the data they need to manage training at scale.
